The basket by Mika Tolvanen is really useful and original; made by polymer felt of recycled PET bottles, it seems cozy and inviting.

E’ utile ed originale il cesto creato da Mika Tolvanen: realizzato in pile prodotto con bottiglie PET riciclate, appare comodo ed invitante.

 

Restore is: sinuous lines, snappy colors (light blue, grey, purple, brown and green) and a comfy surface.

Restore è: linee morbide, colori accattivanti (si va dall’azzurro al grigio, dal viola al marrone, al verde bosco) e un trattamento della superficie che trasmette delle belle sensazioni tattili.

 

Regarding the product, the designer says: “I wanted the basket to have a non-obtrusive nature. It’s a great little basket for storing magazines or any other bits and pieces. Polymer felt combined with a soft form give the basket a friendly appearance. The name Restore is inspired by the fact that the baskets are made of recycled PET bottles."

Il designer, a proposito della propria creazione dice: "La mia idea era realizzare un cesto versatile nel suo utilizzo. Può essere un fantastico portariviste, portagiocattoli o porta-qualsiasi altra cosa. Il pile tecnico prodotto dalle bottiglie di plastica conferisce al contenitore una nota eco-friendly. Il nome del prodotto è, chiaramente, ispirato al materiale di cui è fatto.”
