Folklore curates mindful design for home and life. Danielle Reid and her husband Rob source a selection of goods that are created with care and made to last.

Folklore difende la progettazione consapevole per la casa. Danielle Reid e suo marito Rob scelgono solo prodotti che siano creati con cura e che siano durevoli.

The London store is based near their home in Islington. There you can find homewares, furniture, lighting, art and lifestyle goods sourced with a careful eye. Some are handmade, antique or made from recycled materials, some are easily recyclable. All are made with a concern for the environment.

Il negozio di Londra è vicino alla loro casa a Islington. Vi si possono trovare articoli per la casa, arredamento, illuminazione e arte selezionati con un occhio attento. Alcuni sono fatti a mano, altri antichi o realizzati con materiali riciclati, alcuni sono facilmente riciclabili. Tutti sono comunque realizzati con una particolare attenzione per l'ambiente.

The interior design of the store follows the same philosophy of objects to be sold. Here you can find interesting antiques matched with new objects. Old furnitures (coming from some attic) live with objects created with elements of reuse. An example of this trend is the beautiful table by Soren Rose Studio "Verona" made from reused wooden beams from an Italian marble industry in Italy.

L’arredamento del negozio segue la stessa filosofia con cui vengono scelti gli oggetti da mettere in vendita; si trovano infatti interessanti pezzi d’antiquariato accostati ad elementi nuovi, mobili provenienti da qualche soffitta convivono con oggetti realizzati con elementi di riuso. Un esempio di questa tendenza è il bellissimo tavolo di Soren Rose Studio “Verona” realizzato con tavole provenienti da una fabbrica italiana di marmo.
