Incontrare Le Corbusier è il ciclo di appuntamenti dedicato alla figura del maestro svizzero, architetto, scultore, pittore e geniale pensatore del suo tempo. Esperti del settore approfondiscono i differenti episodi della carriera del padre della moderna urbanistica offrendo così una visione a tutto tondo di questa poliedrica figura.

Con la conferenza Le Corbusier designer – Meubles et Interieurs 1905-1965, si chiude il ciclo realizzato nell’ambito della mostra L’Italia di Le Corbusier.

Le Corbusier: An Atlas of Modern Landscapes

MoMA presents its first major exhibition on the work of Le Corbusier (Charles-Édouard Jeanneret, 1887–1965), encompassing his work as an architect, interior designer, artist, city planner, writer, and photographer. 

Architecture of the world

The exhibition is entitled: Architecture of the World. Infrastructure, Mobility, New Landscapes. You can visit it until February 10th at Triennale Design Museum in Milan.

The title refers explicitly to those works, such as roads, railways and airports, that most give shape to the world and that enable it to function, and it examines how they relate to changing uses and habits and to an increasingly endangered environment.
 

L'Italia di Le Corbusier

Le Corbusier, pseudonym of Charles-Edouard Jeanneret-Gris: architect, sculptor, painter, brilliant thinker of his time, a father of modern town planning and a master of the Modern Movement along with Mies van der Rohe, Gropius, Lloyd Wright and Aalto. MAXXI Architettura is devoting to this figure the exhibition L’Italia di Le Corbusier curated by Marida Talamona (18 October 2012 – 17 February 2013).
Le Corbusier, dal 1920 pseudonimo di Charles-Édouard Jeanneret: architetto, scultore, pittore, geniale pensatore del suo tempo, padre della moderna urbanistica e maestro del Movimento Moderno con Mies van der Rohe, Gropius, Lloyd Wright e Aalto. Il MAXXI Architettura gli ha dedicato la mostra L’Italia di Le Corbusier a cura di Marida Talamona (18 ottobre 2012 – 17 febbraio 2013).
